Descendents of Thomas Chichele of Higham-Ferrers, Northampton, England

This database contains descendency charts of some of the descendents of Thomas Chichele of Higham-Ferrers of Northampton. These charts were printed for the purpose of pointing out some of the blood relations (consanguinity) of Thomas, especially for those descendants who may have been candidates for the fellowhips at All Souls College in Oxford as a result of their blood relation to his son, Henry Chichele, who was the Arch-Bishop of Canterbury and the founder of the College (preface). In addition to Chichele, some of the surnames found in this work include Bertie, Bridges, Herbert, Hervey, Howard, Leigh, Mansel, Montagu, and Shirley.
